Once installed, Veriqo opens full-screen with no browser bar. Your data stays on the device and syncs to the cloud when you sign in.

Getting started

Veriqo is your digital HACCP system. Every record you log is saved to the cloud and ready to show an inspector at any time.

1 Set up Settings first — go to Settings and add your fridge/freezer units and staff names. These appear in the dropdowns when logging. Also add your business name and logo for PDF exports.
2 Log records throughout the day — tap any tile on the home screen to log temperatures, checks, deliveries, cleaning, and more.
3 Export a PDF — tap Records, find any day, and hit Export PDF to get a formatted report ready for your HACCP file or an inspector.
Your records

All records are saved automatically as you log them. They are stored on your device and backed up to the cloud, so you never lose data if you change phone or clear your browser.

The Records tab shows every day you have logged. Tap a day to expand it, or use Export PDF to download a formatted report for that day.

The home screen summary shows today's counts — green OK, amber warning, red failed. Tap any stat to jump to that record type.

Temperature logs

Log fridge, freezer, cooking, cooling, reheating, and delivery temperatures. Veriqo uses UK Food Standards Agency guidelines by default:

🟢 Fridge: below 5 °C — OK
🟡 Fridge: 5–8 °C — Warning
🔴 Fridge: above 8 °C — Failed
🟢 Cooked food: 75 °C+ — OK
🔴 Cooked food: below 75 °C — Failed

You can adjust all thresholds in Settings under Temperature thresholds.

PDF exports

Tap Records, expand any day, then tap Export PDF. A formatted report opens — use your device's share or print option to save it or send it.

On iPhone, tap the share icon in Safari and choose Save to Files or Print. On Android, use the browser menu to print and select Save as PDF.

PDFs include your business name, logo (if set), the date, a summary of OK/Warning/Failed counts, and a full table of every record for that day.

PDF export is always available, even if your trial has ended.

Private chef features

Veriqo includes built-in private chef record types: job logging, kitchen assessments, allergen logs, transport temperature checks, mobile setup, and credentials. You'll find these on the home screen below the standard HACCP tiles.

Daily reminders

Veriqo can send you a push notification at the start and end of each day so no checks get missed.

🌙 Closing reminder — sent at 5:30 pm to prompt closing checks and cleaning sign-off

To enable reminders, go to Settings → Daily reminders and tap Enable push reminders. Your browser will ask for permission to send notifications — tap Allow.

iPhone / iPad: Push notifications require Veriqo to be installed to your home screen from Safari (see "Save as an app" above). iOS 16.4 or later is required.

Android & desktop: Reminders work in Chrome on Android and most desktop browsers — the app does not need to be open to receive them.

You can turn reminders off at any time from the same Settings card.

Account & subscription

You can sign in with your email address or with Google. Your data is tied to your account and syncs across all devices you sign in to.

Trial: New accounts get a free trial with full access to all features. Your trial end date is shown in Settings under Your plan.

Subscribing: When the trial ends (or any time before), tap Subscribe — £12/month or Subscribe — £120/year in Settings. The annual plan saves you £24 compared to paying monthly.

Managing your subscription: Active subscribers can tap Manage subscription → in Settings to open the Stripe billing portal. From there you can update your payment method, switch between monthly and annual billing, or cancel.

Your records and PDF exports always remain available, even if your subscription ends.
