Common questions about HACCP for private chefs.

Do private chefs need HACCP records in the UK?

Yes. Under UK food safety law, any food business operator — including private chefs working in clients' homes — must have a food safety management system based on HACCP principles. This includes keeping records of temperature checks, allergen management, cleaning and deliveries.
